Pooph™ is completely colorless, odorless, and non-staining. It smells like nothing! We don’t add any fragrances because Pooph™ actually WORKS and fragrances are how other products hide the fact that they don’t actually get rid of the odor. Plus fragrances are often made of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) or Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) and those aren’t safe at all!
Please don’t spray Pooph™ directly onto your pet, nobody likes getting sprayed at! Pooph™ is not intended to treat your pet directly, but if a stinky smells gets on your pet, it is safe to use to remove that stink. We recommend spraying it on a soft towel and wiping down the area that stinks. It won’t hurt your pet because it is 100% safe and non-toxic but it will get rid of any stink!

Pooph™ requires a 1:1 ratio of the odor creating molecule to Pooph™’s odor eliminating molecule. So if you’re using Pooph™ on a fresh accident by your pet, you will use less Pooph™ than you would on an old accident (and maybe an accident your pet has had multiple times in the same place). As long as Pooph™ can reach the source of the odor and there’s as much Pooph™ as there is stink, Pooph™ will get it and dismantle the odor.

Our Kitty Litter Box Deodorizer was designed with cat-related offenses in mind. We were careful to make sure that it also wouldn’t affect the clumping of the litter, so while you could use our general pet odor eliminator for the litter box, the specialized formula for the litter box will be better.
